1. Return Policy Overview Tankhouse Fragrances LLC (“Tankhouse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) maintains a strict return policy due to the personal and volatile nature of fragrance products. We do not accept discretionary returns. Discretionary returns include, but are not limited to, those based on personal scent preference, subjective fragrance performance (such as longevity or projection), change of mind, or accidental ordering of the wrong item. Only items purchased directly from tankhousenyc.com are eligible for consideration under this policy.

2. Eligibility for Non-Discretionary Returns We will only consider return requests if the item meets one of the following criteria: the item arrived damaged during transit, the item is functionally defective (e.g., a broken atomizer), or the incorrect item was sent. To be eligible for a return in these specific instances, the item must be unused, unopened, and in the same condition that you received it, including all original packaging and intact protective seals or cellophane.

3. Reporting Damaged or Incorrect Items You must inspect your order upon receipt. Any claims for damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported to hello@tankhousenyc.com within forty-eight (48) hours of the delivery date as recorded by the carrier. Please include your order number and clear photographic evidence of the issue. Failure to report issues within this 48-hour window may result in the denial of your claim.

4. Ineligible Items The following items are strictly ineligible for return, refund, or exchange under any circumstances: any fragrance that has been opened, sprayed, or used; samples, discovery sets, or travel-sized items; items purchased on sale or marked as "final sale"; and gift cards. We cannot process returns for products purchased through third-party retailers or unauthorized resellers.

5. Return Authorization Process All returns must be authorized by Tankhouse prior to being shipped back to us. Items sent to us without prior written authorization will not be accepted and will be returned to the sender at their expense or disposed of. If your return request is approved, we will provide you with specific instructions for the return shipment. Tankhouse will cover the cost of return shipping only in cases where we have confirmed the item was damaged, defective, or sent in error.

6. Refunds and Processing Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original payment method within ten (10) business days. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
