1. Order Processing Orders are typically processed within one to three (1-3) business days, excluding weekends and observed holidays. You will receive a confirmation email upon order placement and a subsequent notification containing tracking information once your order has been dispatched. Processing times may be extended during new product launches, seasonal promotions, or periods of high volume.
2. Shipping Destinations Tankhouse Fragrances LLC (“Tankhouse,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) currently ships exclusively within the United States. We do not offer international shipping at this time, nor do we ship to freight forwarders or international re-shippers. We reserve the right to cancel orders intended for export in violation of these terms.
3. Fragrance Shipping and Safety (HAZMAT) Fragrance products contain alcohol and are classified as flammable liquids (Hazardous Materials) for transportation purposes. In compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, our products must be shipped via ground transportation only. As a result, expedited or air shipping methods are generally unavailable. Total delivery times may be longer than standard non-flammable goods due to these safety requirements.
4. Shipping Rates and Methods Shipping rates and available delivery options are calculated and displayed at the time of checkout. We reserve the right to select the most efficient carrier and service level for your order. Delivery timeframes provided at checkout are estimates only and begin from the date of shipment, not the date of order placement.
5. Delivery Guarantees and Delays While we strive for timely delivery, Tankhouse does not guarantee specific delivery dates. We are not responsible for delays caused by carrier transit issues, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. No refunds will be issued for shipping charges based on carrier delays.
6. Address Accuracy and Redelivery You are responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided at checkout is accurate and complete. Tankhouse is not liable for orders that are delayed, lost, or returned due to incorrect or insufficient address information. If an order is returned to us as undeliverable, you may be responsible for additional shipping charges to resend the package.
7. Risk of Loss and Delivery Confirmation Risk of loss and title for all products pass to you upon our delivery of the package to the carrier. Once a package is marked as "Delivered" by the carrier, Tankhouse is not responsible for any subsequent loss, theft, or damage. If a package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, we recommend contacting the carrier directly to initiate a trace or file a claim.
8. Damaged or Missing Items If your order arrives damaged or contains missing items, you must notify us at hello@tankhousenyc.com within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery. Your report must include your order number and clear photographic evidence of the damage or the shipping box. We will evaluate the claim and, at our discretion, determine an appropriate resolution in accordance with our Refund Policy.
9. Refused or Unclaimed Shipments Orders that are refused at the time of delivery or remain unclaimed at a carrier facility will be returned to us. In such cases, the original shipping charges and any return shipping fees incurred by Tankhouse will be non-refundable. We reserve the right to deduct a restocking fee from any approved refund for refused shipments.
